Meet Kelley
Growing up in Meadow Vista, I’ve cherished the foothills from a young age. Knowing Auburn inspires grit, adventure, and community spirit, I chose this city to raise my own family. We love all things “Auburn” and can be found commuting on our cargo bike, running, hiking, mountain biking, and white water rafting. When we’re not embracing the Endurance Capital lifestyle, we are enjoying the great local events, shops, restaurants, and breweries!
I am the mother of two young kids and want to help build a community that kids and youth can thrive in, feel connected to, and be seen as valuable members of our society.
I am proud to serve as the Director of Auburn Trails Alliance, a local non-profit that maintains the Auburn Bike Park and works to improve local bike and pedestrian infrastructure. I have enjoyed participating in numerous focus groups addressing active transportation in the City and County, and am excited to advocate for more sustainable, safe, and accessible options to get around.
I hold a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Food and Nutrition, with experience working for Stanford Children’s Hospital and my own private practice. I recognize the importance of a vibrant community to promote health across the lifespan. I want to use my passions, skills, and experience to help build a thriving community for all ages.
As a council member, I will advocate for responsible spending, fire and public safety, and for the establishment of creative revenue streams to better support our city. I will fight for our schools, work to preserve our environment, and promote active transportation. With your help, I will make Auburn stronger and more sustainable so that our next generation will not only cherish our city like we do, but will thrive within it.
